TS Galaxy captain Given Msimango says they are "focusing on the present" and insists they have put their 2019 Nedbank Cup truimph over Kaizer Chiefs behind them ahead of their league clash on Wednesday.
The Rockets have surprised many by collecting four out of six points in their first two matches of their DStv Premiership campaign following a 1-1 draw against fellow newboys Tshakhuma Tsha Mandzivhandila and 1-0 win over Amazulu, their first results in the top-flight of Mzansi football.
TS Galaxy midfielder and skipper Given Msimango has said that "The mood in the camp at the moment is a very good one. The guys are positive and looking forward to Wednesday’s game against Kaizer Chiefs".

"The team experienced success against Kaizer Chiefs in the Nedbank Cup final. I think that is in the past. This is football. We are focusing on the present. There’s been a lot of changes since then. The changes in the playing personnel, will make the approach of the game very differently," added Msimango.
The Rockets defeated Kaizer Chiefs 1-0 at a packed Moses Mabhida Stadium last year in May 2019, courtesy of an injury time penalty by in-form Orlando Pirates striker Zakhele Lepasa, who was on-loan from the Buccaneers at the time.

"Off course they (Kaizer Chiefs) played a cup game against Orlando Pirates this past weekend and didn’t get a good result. That’s make them a very dangerous opponent coming in to this game. We are very much aware of that. We’ve prepared accordingly for that match on Wednesday" concluded the 23-year-old Msimango.
