MTN 8 defending champions SuperSport United almost surrendered a three-goal lead after allowing PSL newcomers Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila to score twice either side of half time. This ensured that there was a nervy ending to the game for Matsatsantsa, who managed to win 3-2 courtesy of first half goals from Bradley Grobler, Iqraam Rayners and Zambian forward Gamphani Lungu, prior to Mokagolodi Ngele's brace for the Limpopo side. The Botswana international unleashed a scorcher from outside of the box to leave Bafana goalkeeper Ronwen Williams rooted to the spot for TTM's first goal in the PSL.
