Amazulu have confirmed that they have completed the signing of Phakamani Mahlamb and goalkeeper Veli Mothwa whilst also unveiling Tshepiso Mofokeng as the clubs new General Manager.
The ambitious KwaZulu-Natal club have signed Mahlambi on-loan from Mamelodi Sundowns, whilst also acquiring 29-year-old former Chippa United captain Veli Mothwa in what is Usuthu's busiest transfer window in the PSL era following the takeover of the club by Sandile Zungu from Dr Patrick Sokhela after the 2019/20 season.

Usuthu Chairman and owner Sandile Zungu says "We will not buy loyalty, we will win loyalty, with the brand of soccer and by winning trophies. We wanted to buy players with pedigree, who know what it takes to win trophies. We want these players to be there for the youngsters and mentor them."
The 23-year-old Phakamani Mahlambi had been linked to the club for a few weeks after managing to feature in only 15 matches last season for treble champions Mamelodi Sundonwns
