Kaizer Chiefs have ended their pursuit of Radomiak Radom midfielder Thabo Cele following a few weeks of speculation about a pending move to the Soweto giants.
The 26-year-old had previously been interested in a move to Amakhosi as a free agent following his impressive performances for the South African under-23 side at the delayed Tokyo Olympics.

However, a contract offer did not materialise with the player eventually opting to further his European career at Polish Ekstraklasa side Radomiak Radom.
The Glamour Boys made Cele a very lucrative contract offer which would have seen him among the top five earners at the club, but his delay in committing to the deal has led to Chiefs retracting their offer.
Kwazulu-Natal outfit Amazulu were also interested in signing Cele but unlike Chiefs, did not make progress after initial contact with his representative.
