PRE MATCH WARM-UP, DStv Premiership 2022/23, Friday 05 August:
CAPE TOWN CITY VS MAMELODI SUNDOWNS
The two teams have met on twelve occasions, with the Citizens enjoying a slight dominance over Masandawana, having beaten the Tshwane side five times whilst losing four matches to them.
The last two matches between both sides produced the first goalless draws in their encounters.
Both sides will be competing in the CAF Champions League this season, and have made a few additions to their squads.
City have signed Mark Van Heerden, Jordan Bender and Lebo Manyama whilst Sundowns have recruited Sipho Mbule, Ronwen Williams.
The two teams will meet at Cape Town Stadium, kick-off is at 19h30.
