Orlando Pirates grabbed their first win of the season with a hard-fought 1-0 win over Siwelele. Both sides went to half time at 0-0, with both sides having chances to take the lead with Bucs Vincent Pule and Celtic's Thato Lingwati coming close to scored.
Bucs looked more threatening in the second half and got their goal late in the game, when Siphesihle Ndlovu pounced on a deflected chance to score the winter for the Buccaneers.

Swallows continued their unbeaten start to the season with a well-fought 2-0 win over TTM. Both sides did not shy away from attack during the first-half, but failed to score.
The second half saw both sides get chances before Ruzaigh Gamielien scored his second goal of a season to give The Birds the lead in the second half before Sipho Sibiya sealed all three points three minutes into injury time.

Golden Arrows equalised very late in the game to hold Baroka FC 1-1 at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Wednesday. Arrows were first to attack, with Elvis Chipezeze keeping Bakgakga in the game.
Baroka then took the lead early in the second stanza through Thamsanqa Masiya, but could not kill off the game despite the visitors being down to ten men in the 66th minute. Velemseni Ndwandwe then stole a late equaliser for Arrows to share the spoils deep into injury time.

After a lacklustre first half from both sides, SuperSport United eventually created a winning goal late in the game through Bafana Bafana midfielder Teboho Mokoena in the 87th minute of the match.

Black Leopards 0
Amazulu registered their first win of the DStv Premiership with a convincing 2-0 win over Black Leopards on Wednesday. Usuthu dominated the early stages with Lidoda Duvha preferring a cautious approach in the first half, limiting the hosts to long-range attempts.
The second half saw Usuthu creating more chances and duly found the lead in through former Bucs star Luvuyo Memela who went on to double his tally for his new club with a lovely header to give Amazulu the lead and the full three points.

Both sides shared the spoils after a lacklustre encounter at FNB Stadium on Wednesday. The best chance of the match fell to TS Galaxy striker Wayde Lekay, who could not convert his first half penalty after Amakhosi defender Khotso Moleko had fouled Lindokuhle Mbatha in the box.
Chiefs have only scored via an own-goal this season and failed to threaten the Rockets goal througout the match.

Mamelodi Sundowns claimed all three points in their away match against Cape Town City with a 2-0 win on Wednesday. Masandawana took the lead after a tentative first quarter with a long-range strike from Lyle Lakay.
Masandawana then controlled them match until Ka Bo Yellow managed to secure all three ply with a late strike from super-sub winger Keletso Makgalwa to give Downs all three points.
