Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Willard Katsande has expressed that Amakhosi "really want" to win the CAF Champions League title but maintains they will not get ahead of themselves.
The Glamour Boys find themselves in the continental African club football showpiece after winning 1-0 on aggregate against Wydad Athletic in the double-legged CAF Champions League Semi-Finals.
This comes on the back of a series of big events within the club over the past two months which saw the departure of Gavin Hunt as the club's head coach, with the club announcing Stuart Baxter as his replacement for next season.
However, Chiefs have managed to steady the ship with Caretaker coaches Arthur Zwane and Dillon Sheppard, who have managed to secure a top 8 spot on the Premiership table on the final matchday and also progressing to the Caf Champions League final.

Despite only featuring in just over 50% of Kaizer Chiefs league matches this past season, Zimbabwean midfielder Willard Katsande has managed to feature on 11 occassions in Amakhosi's glorius CAF run , featuring 11 times for the Soweto Giants, including playing the full semi-final legs against Wydad Athletic.
A focused Katsande told his club website that "This season we turned the corner in terms of CAF competition. Every game is tough in the Champions League, it requires you to bring your A game to get what you want," says Katsande.
We’re still humble, level-headed, we know we haven’t won anything yet, but we really want it. We are just going to work hard and get back on the horse to get the victory in the final," concluded the 35-year-old.

Amakhosi will take on defending Caf Champions League champions Al Ahly on the 17th of July at the Stade Mohammed V stadium in Morocco, which is the same stadium Chiefs defeated Wydad Athletic, in order to advance to the final. Kick-off is at 21:00 SA time.
