Kaizer Chiefs have moved swiftly to announce the return of Stuart Baxter as the head coach of the club on a two-year-deal.
The former Bafana Bafana head coach will be returning to the Soweto Giants for his second stint, having been the last coach to lead Amakhosi to the league title in 2015 after a successful tenure.
During this time Baxter oversaw 110 matches for Chiefs in all competitions, winning 66, drawing 25 and losing only 19 matches as he led the Glamour Boys to two league and cup doubles in 2012/13 with the Nedbank Cup and league titles, and again in 2014/15 season with MTN8 cup and league victories.
