Mamelodi Sundowns kicked-off their CAF Champions League campaign with a 2-0 win away to Botswana's Jwaneng Galaxy in their first leg encounter at tHE Lobatse Stadium on Tuesday.
Masandawana earned the two away goals of their two-legged CAF Champions League first round clash thanks to goals by former Highlands Park duo of midfielder Mothobi Mvala and in-form Namibian striker Peter Shalulile.
The joint reigning PSL top goalscorer Shalulile commented on the win after the match saying that "The pitch didn't allow us to play our football but we grind out the result, two goals and am happy for my teammates, we really did our best. Credit also goes to the technical team, they believed in us and kept on pushing us."

He added, "It's things I start at training, to just keep on hunting for that goal and eventually it will come and it's coming, and I will still keep on pushing for many more goals. I should say thank you to my teammates because they are the ones who believe in me and I keep banging them[goals] in.
You should always have that thing in your mind of saying something will happen, a goal will come and eventually I anticipated the ball and it eventually came, and I put it in the back of the net." said a confident Peter Shalulile.
