Amakhosi fell to their third defeat of the DStv Premiership campaign on Tuesday evening in a game which saw another costly passing error from star goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune.
A subdued Kaizer Chiefs captain Itumeleng Khune spoke in a post match interview after the match following his pass which led to the opening goal of the match by Man of the Match Bradley Grobler in a match that saw Amakhosi lose 2-1 to SuperSport United at the Lucas Moripe Stadium.
"It is very tough indeed, we didn't start the season as much as we planned or as much as we wanted because we finished second last season and I think that had a big impact in the beginning of this season.
I think a lot of us are still not ready for this season but we always have to be ready for anything that comes our way. We are the ones who signed up to represent Kaizer Chiefs and we are the ones who put ourselves in this situation and again we are the ones who have to get out of it" said Khune.

The Bafana Bafana shotstopper went on to critique his sides performance against SuperSport in a match which also saw left-back Philani Zulu get sent off just after the hour mark in the second half which Khune felt the Glamour Boys dominated.
The 33-year-old said "Tonight we dominated the game throughout but we didn't take our chances, and again I gave the ball away because I am trying to do too much, I am trying to be a ball player, I am trying to be a goalkeeper at the same time so I think I just need to stick to being a goalkeeper, because I want the team to play more, I don't want us to keep on playing the balls in the air."

"I want us to play more from the back and I want to look for the pockets and unfortunately tonight the guys read the ball that I wanted to play in the pocket to Mshini and they converted it". It's sad that I just gave away two goals in two weeks, it's very bad, and we have to go back to the field, work on it and improve in it." added Chiefs number one.
