Amazulu coach Benni McCarthy lambasted the officiating following their Nedbank Cup Last 32 exit to Orlando Pirates at Orlando Stadium on Sunday.
Usuthu were denied a penalty in the first half after Buccaneers midfielder Goodman Mosele handled the ball in the box, with footage showing the ball hit his hand twice.
The referee, Masixole Bambiso, stopped the match amid protests from players, but then strangely decided to restart the match by dropping the ball down for Pirates.

An annoyed Benni McCarthy spoke to SuperSport after the match and did not shy away from criticising the officiating.
"For us, you saw today what we were about, if in this life there was justice, we would be standing here saying a different story," said McCarthy.
"I counted three penalties, now we get one and you must be happy because it's justice, that's no justice man, but anyway it was a great game of football," added the coach.

Amazulu were however handed a lifeline in the 87th minute, when they were finally awarded a penalty following an Abel Mabaso handball, but Siyabonga Mpontshane saved Tapelo Xoki's penalty.
"I am super proud of my team and they couldn't have done more, they were beaten by the man in the middle today and not by our opponents, and I am going to stick to that," concluded McCarthy.
