TS Galaxy striker Wayde Lekay has dominated the December Goal of the Month nominations with a total of three goals which are competing for the monthly award.
The 24-year-old striker had not scored a goal in 21 league matches for the Rockets prior to hitting a purple patch in which has seen him score four goals and provide an assists in six matches since late November.
Earlier in the season, Lekay admitted in an exclusive Volley.co.za interview, that he was "putting in extra hours" to get goals and also shooting from distance, which has been visible in his recent nominated strikes with his weaker left-foot.
The uncapped Western-Cape born forward has been selected to feature for Warriors FC, whom will be representing Inland 2 in the DSTV Compact Cup later this month.
