Defender Mario Booysen has been released early by Amazulu after struggling for game-time under head coach Benni McCarthy this season.
The 32-year-old was released by mutual consent by Amazulu following discussions between the experienced centre-back and the resurgent KwaZulu-Natal outfit.

The former Mamelodi Sundowns, Bloemfontein Celtic, Maritzburg United, SuperSport United, Ajax Cape Town and Kaizer Chiefs footballer has only featured once as a substitute against SuperSport United since Benni McCarthy took over the head coach position at Amazulu.
Prior to that, Booysen had featured in the first four DStv Premiership matches under Ayanda Dlamini, prior to Dlamini stepping down from the position in December.
