Masandawana 29-year-old Lyle Lakay scored a 90th minute winner in Downs historic 2-1 win over TP Mazembe at their fortress in Lubumbashi.
The former SuperSport United, Bloemfontein Celtic and Cape Town City player has been in great form this season, scoring twice and providing eight assists in 22 matches in all competition.

Meanwhile, compatriot Nkosingiphile Ngcobo played an influencial role in midfield for Amakhosi to give the Glamour Boys their first CAF Champions League win after eight winless matches in the 2-0 win over Petro de Luanda.
The diminutive midfielder has been one of a few shining lights for the struggling Chiefs this season, scoring three goals and providing one assists in his 25 appearances for the club in all competitions this season.
The 21-year-old has managed to start 22 of those 25 matches, emphasising his importance to the Amakhosi side.

Masandawana take on TP Mazembe on 16 March at Loftus Stadium in their next CAF clash whilst Amakhosi will travel to Angola to take on Petro de Luanda in their reverse fixture on the same day at the Estádio 11 de Novembro Stadium.
