Kaizer Chiefs and Siphelele Ntshangase have come to a decision to part ways with immediate effect following weeks of discussion between the two parties.
The former Black Leopards and Baroka star arrived under much fan fare, which increased after he was handed the sacred number 10 jersey for Amakhosi. However, his time at Chiefs did not go according to plan.
The gifted playmaker only managed to make 38 appearances for Kaizer Chiefs, providing two assists and failing to register a goal for the Glamour Boys since joining the club in 2018.

During his stint, Ntshangase has been under several coaches but failed to break into the side. The 27-year-old seemed to have a chance to stake his claim this season with Gavin Hunt giving him six appearances early this season in all competition.
However, he soon found himself regularly out of the matchday squad with his last appearance being in the shock 2-1 loss to Richards Bay in the Nedbank Cup Round of 32.

Ntshangase, who has five Bafana Bafana caps and two goals to his name, is now a free agent, and may join any club that is interested in his services.
Meanwhile, Kaizer Chiefs have extended the contract of defender Siyabonga Ngezana, 24, for three years with an option to extend with a further two years.
