Swallows head coach Brandon Truter won his second consecutive coach of the month award whilst his talisman Ruzaigh Gamildien walked away with the player of the month award for December/January.
Truter has managed to mantain an unbeaten run this season despite being involved in his first PSL season after steering the Birds back to the PSL from the GladAfrica Championship at the end of last season, with Swai-Swai sitting in an inspiring second position on the DStv Premiership.

The much travelled Gamildien who has featured for PSL clubs Ajax Cape Town, Bloemfontein Celtic, Amazulu and Chippa United has had a sterling start to the season and has scored eight goals in eleven league appearances for the Dobsonville based outfit.
Recently, the Birds mentor Brandon Truter revealed that he had trained the 31-year-old attacking midfielder when the footballer was still 15, 16-year old, and said that he "knows what makes him tick", which is a relationship that seems to be bearing fruit on the field.
