Amakhosi captain Ramahlwe Mphahlele has stressed that he wants to go far in this season's CAF Champions League tournament ahead of Tuesday's clash with Horoya.
Kaizer Chiefs go into this match having had their first Group C fixture against Wydad Casablanca in Morrocco rescheduled to the 28th of February to a neutral venue in Burkina Faso due to health restrictions.
"The match against SuperSport was good especially coming from a loss against AmaZulu," he says. "We had to fight back, and I think the guys played well. The only thing we did not do right was finish the chances we created on the day." said Mphahlele

"Again, we need to minimise our mistakes, keep clean sheets and score goals. If we are to win games, it’s something we have been working on and hopefully it comes off today," he added.
"A positive start to the competition against Horoya is what is needed for us as Chiefs to have a long stay in the competition. We are playing at home for the first game of the group stages and we are looking forward to the it.

The Glamour Boys take on Group C leaders Horoya from Guinea this evening at the FNB Stadium and will be without Khama Billiat, Happy Mashiane, Dumisani Zuma and Erick Mathoho due to injury, whilst Kgotso Moleko is away for family responsibilities. Kick-Off is at 18:00.
