Cape Town City chairman John Comitis has often insisted that their priority is to help Nodada move to Europe from the Western Cape-club. “There’s no doubt that we will continue to give players an opportunity to develop their talent overseas,” Comitis said during the June 2020 transfer window.
The Western-Cape side last exported Gift Links to Aarhus in the Danish Super League, where the South African has become a regular in the side. Lebo Manyama [to Konyaspor, Turkey in 2017] and Ayanda Patosi [to Banias FC, UAE in 2019] are the other two players who have left City for Europe and Asia.
