German head coach Josef Zinnbauer praised his teams effort following their 2-1 Soweto Derby win over rivals Kaizer Chiefs at Orlando Stadium on Saturday.
Josef Zinnbauer complimented his side in a interview after their DStv Premiership win over archrivals Amakhosi admitting that it was a "Tough game, I think first half we were the better team, I think second half we get the goal and then we wanted to play more counter-attack and we had the opportunities to score earlier," said Zinnbauer
"I have to see the highlights but I think we had penalties, which could have had one in the first half but close to the end of the first half that chance with [Fortune] Makaringe and [Thembinkosi] Lorch, completely alone and if you get the second goal it and I think the game is close to finish and would've made it easier second half," rued the 50-year-old coach.

"But now you see, Kaizer Chiefs have the quality especially with the long and the high balls, in the box, always crossing, it's not easy to defend, but compliments to the keeper [Richard] Ofori for managing his defensive lines, it's not easy against these guys.
[Thembinkosi] Lorch also, Man of the Match, I think it was a top game for him defensively and offensively. It was a team effort today and I think we deserve the three points" concluded Zinnbauer.
