Gavin Hunt saw his Amakhosi side fall to their fifth loss of the DStv Premiership season and their third Soweto Derby loss in all competitions this season following a 2-1 loss at Orlando Stadium.
The disappointed Amakhosi head coach spoke in an interview after the match and said "We played well, we should've won the game comfortably, I thought we did well, I don't know how many chances they cleared off the line, but we did well you know, I can't fault the players.
"We've got to defend a little bit better, there was only one winner here and we should have won the game but you chasing and the second goal goes in then and it looks bad but we still had chances to make it 2-2, so ja, disappointing" he added.

"We had more than enough chances, in the first half we should have been 2-0, 3-0. It is the same thing with the cup game with Khama [Billiat] and [Leo] Castro should have scored in the first game we would've been two goals up before they had a goal and we would have had two away goals and then it's a different ball-game.
It is same thing today, I mean the goal we missed, and then [Samir] Nurkovic went through (on goal) it could've been two-nil before they even looked like scoring and that was disappointing on our side because I knew we had to score first and we didn't," concluded Hunt

Amakhosi's next fixture will be in the Nedbank Cup Round of 32 against GladAfrica Championship side Richards Bay next Sunday before travelling to Morocco to take on Wydad Casablanca in the first CAF Champions League Group C clash.
