Amazulu have parted ways with head coach Benni McCarthy following a tumultous season with unsatisfactory results in all competitions.
The former Cape Town City boss had led the KwaZulu-Natal outfit to an unprecedented second place finish last season in the inaugral DStv Premiership.
However, Usuthu failed to replicate their 2020/21 form and find themselves outside of the top eight spot, in ninth position, with only seven matches left to play this season.

The Durban-based side has also been eliminated in the first round of the MTN 8, the Last 32 of the Nedbank Cup and have recently been eliminated in the group stages of the Caf Champions League.
McCarthy led the team on 60 occassions, winning 23 matches, drawing 22 and losing 15 times during his stint with Amazulu.
The club President Sandile Zungu is set to make further announcements about the head coach position "in due course" according to an official statement.
