Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos has announced a provisional 34-man squad to start preparing for the crucial back-to-back 2022 Qatar FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Ethiopia in October.
South Africa currently lead Group G by a single point, ahead of second placed Ghana who lost 1-0 to Mzansi in their last qualifier clash earlier this month.

Consecutive wins for Bafana Bafana against Ethiopia will put the Southern African side in the driving seat to win their qualifying group, but Ethiopia also need to win both games to keep alive their qualification hopes.
Bafana Bafana will travel to face Ethiopia on the 6th of October before they return to host the Walias on the 10th of October in Mzansi.
Hugo Broos is expected to trim the squad closer to the international break.
